Luxe Accounting LLC is bound by professional standards and ethics. We strive to ensure that your information is always protected and your right to privacy is honored and respected. We will not collect any personal information about our website visitors unless it is voluntarily submitted, in which case we will act in a responsible manner to protect your personal information.

 

As part of the services we provide, we collect nonpublic personal information about you from the following sources:

  • Information we receive from you on applications, tax organizers, worksheets and other documents;

  • Information we receive from government agencies, such as the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) or the Washington State Department of Revenue (WA DOR).

 

We do not disclose any nonpublic personal information about our clients or former clients to anyone, except as permitted by law. We give users choice and consent over how their personal information is used and will remove names upon request. TaxDome Security

 

We use TaxDome as our secure client portal where clients can upload their sensitive information such as tax documents, financial statements, bank account information, amongst other personal information. This is a secure, encrypted portal where your information is protected. Our portal may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those websites. Please review their privacy policies before providing any information.

How we Use Your Information

 

We will only use your information to the extent of our agreed upon engagement. This includes but is not limited to our bookkeeping, tax, and advisory services, processing payments, managing billing, communicating with you regarding your account or services, or complying with legal and regulatory requirements. If you have any questions regarding how we use your information, refer to your Engagement Letter and/or message us directly.

 

Third Party Use 

 

We will NOT release your name or any information pertaining to you or your business to any third party without your consent.

As per our engagement, we may share your information with:

  • Service providers such as our client portal, payment processors, amongst others;

  • Government agencies as legally required for tax filings, audits, or legal compliance;

  • Professional advisors, such as attorneys or auditors, when reasonably necessary or required;

  • Any authorized persons you’ve explicitly granted access to your data.

 

All third parties listed above are contractually required to keep your data confidential and use it only for the services they provide to us.

 

Data Security

 

We implement a range of technical, administrative, and physical safeguards to protect your information, including our encrypted client portal, secure file transfer systems, multi-factor authentication, and access controls for internal staff. Despite our efforts, no method of transmission over the Internet or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We use RingCentral to communicate via text with clients. Please note that message and data rates may apply, to opt out at any time text STOP. For assistance or if you have any concerns, please contact us via the portal.
